06.10.08 – SSL Special Service Lug introduction
The SSL, our best rated traction design for On/Off highway usage, is intended for applications that include cement mixers, dump, refuse and utility trucks. Its flat radius tread and full tread depth insure aggressive traction, good mileage and excellent penetration resistance. The tie-bar configuration insures less movement and more even wear. 04.03.08 – Wayco Retread Inc has entered new market segment in California
manufacturer Wayco Retread Inc has entered the 19.5” market in central California by introducing the XTL tread design in the 225/70R19.5 and 245/70R19.5 sizes. Twelve of their dealers have already changed over from precure retreads to and they are looking forward to more growth in 2008 & 2009.

03.01.08 – New Over-the-Road Drive tread design and new sizes for the LDL Drive tire coming
manufacturer Wonderland Tire is planning to introduce a new closed-shoulder, high-mileage Over-the-Road drive design called the APD to the tire lineup. In addition, they are also adding the 11R22.5 and LPR24.5 sizes to the LDL for applications needing an open-shoulder traction tread design.
